Mets Score 10 Runs in 3rd Straight Game After Slugging 4 Home Runs in Win Over Phillies
Mets Continue Offensive Tear, Win 10-6
The New York Mets continued their offensive tear on Wednesday night, scoring 10 runs for the third straight game in a 10-6 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. The Mets hit four home runs in the game, including two from Pete Alonso and one each from Francisco Lindor and Jeff McNeil.The Mets jumped out to an early lead in the first inning when Alonso hit a two-run homer off Phillies starter Zach Eflin. Mets Offense Continues to Roll

Alonso has been leading the charge, going 7-for-12 with four home runs and nine RBIs in the three games.Lindor and McNeil have also been key contributors to the Mets' offensive success, with Lindor going 6-for-12 with two home runs and five RBIs in the three games, and McNeil going 7-for-12 with one home run and four RBIs in the three games.
The Mets offense has now scored at least 10 runs in five of their last seven games. They are now averaging 5.9 runs per game, which is second in the National League behind the Atlanta Braves.
Mets Pitching Staff Holds On
